Alstom wins $76.8M contract for Malaysian plants
Alstom has won a US$ 76.8 million contract for the design, manufacture, erection, testing and commissioning of two 125 mW generating plants.
The contract was awarded to Alstom Projects India and Alstom Hydro Malaysia.
The third project worth US$ 13.1 million was awarded to a consortium composed of SNC-Lavalin, SNC-Lavalin Power, KTA Tenaga and G & P Professionals, according to khl.com.
TNB said this consortium would provide detailed engineering design for the main civil works together with an engineering design review for the electrical and mechanical works, project management and site supervision.
The facility is expected to be operational by October 2015.
