LTA application for NTPC's 1,320 MW Tanda power project awaited
The LTA application from NTPC for it's 1,320 MW Tanda power project in Uttar Pradesh is yet to be received, according to Powergrid.
The power major, which has already applied for connectivity of its Tanda project, requires the same by December, 2016.
Connectivity could be provided through 2x135 MVA, 400/220 kV integrated current transformer at Tanda to connect the proposed generation at 400 kV with the existing 220 kV bus. The ICTs at Tanda would provide required connectivity to the grid.
It is only after the said application is received, that revised system studies for power evacuation would be carried out based on information like beneficiary, quantum and revised network configuration, etc.
The connectivity may be granted through the said ICT at Tanda subject to provision of 1x125 MVA reactor at the generating station, separate LTA applications for evacuation of power to different beneficiaries and other applicable conditions.
