Vietnam eyes 2013 completion of Pleiku-Cau Bong transmission line
The government of Vietnam asked the local authorities to create favourable conditions for the Pleiku to Cau Bong transmission line project’s investors.
Accordingly, the chair of HCM City People’s Committee as well as the leaders in other provinces including Gia Lai, Dak Lak, Dak Nong, Binh Phuoc and Binh Duong will have to finish the procedures for granting the construction licence, approval for compensation costs etc relating to the project.
The 500KV transmission line project is scheduled for completion by 2013.
The State Bank of Vietnam has assigned Vietinbank as the major bank to arrange capital for the project under the prime minister’s guidance.
EVN Group has been appointed to cooperate with World Bank and Asian Development Bank to work out the details about capital source, implementation process and payment methods for carrying out the project.
