Renewable energy developer Total Eren has expanded to Perth in Western Australia with the opening of its fourth office in the country to develop renewable hydrogen projects in the state.

In a statement, Total Eren said developing hydrogen projects in Western Australia will be in line with the state’s Renewable Hydrogen Strategy and Roadmap which focuses on domestic supply and export opportunities.

“Australia is key in Total Eren’s global strategy. The continued growth of our team in Perth is a demonstration of our commitment to advancing our H2 pipeline in Western Australia and our collective global expertise to deliver the lowest cost of energy for the hydrogen future,” said Total Eren CEO David Corchia.

Total Eren has teams in the Northern Territory, Queensland, and South Australia.
It owns and operates the 256 megawatts-peak (MWp) Kiamal Solar Farm (Stage 1), the argest solar farm in Victoria, and is developing the 194 MWp second stage of the project which includes the first direct current-coupled inverters and up to 300 MW-hour of energy storage.
