Sumitomo Mitsui Financial Group Inc. will provide 4.2 billion yen in loans for a Vietnamese hydroelectric power plant. This was reported by the Nikkei newspaper.
The Japanese bank will provide the loans with the government-backed Nippon Export and Investment Insurance, the Nikkei said. The loans will be made to an unnamed Vietnamese company, according to the report.
