POWER-GEN Asia broke record with almost 7,000 attendees
POWER-GEN Asia 2009 posted a record attendance with nearly 7,000 power industry professionals converging at IMPACT Exhibition and Conference Centre in Bangkok.
Coinciding with Renewable Energy World Asia 2009 from 7 to 9 October, the POWER-GEN Asia convention also had a record-breaking number of exhibitors of over 170. Asia's power industry professionals gathered to discuss the latest developments, issues and challenges related to the region's power generation, transmission and distribution and renewable energy sectors.
Glenn Ensor, Event Director of POWER-GEN Asia and Renewable Energy World Asia, said, "To achieve a record attendance of nearly 7,000 registrations is extremely gratifying, particularly in the current economically uncertain times.
