PT PLN (Persero), the state-owned power company, will bid out three mine mouth steam power plants with a total installed capacity of 2,600 megawatts (MW) worth Rp 26 trillion (US$ 2.88 billion) to private developers in June 2012. The three power plants are Sumsel 9 (2x600 MW), Sumsel 10 (1x600 MW), and Jambi (2x400 MW).
