Bangchak Petroleum is eyeing expansion of three solar power projects in Thailand with investments of THB12bn or $401 million.
The first 38MW solar plant began supplying electricity to the national grid last week.
Construction of the second plant with a planned capacity of 35MW is expected to start by the end of this year, reports Bloomberg.
Bangchak Petroleum president Anusorn said the construction of the third 48MW plant is scheduled for next year and the projects are expected to take 15 months to complete.
