Kyocera was chosen to install more than 1,200 PV systems in schools across Japan.

The new installations have consolidated Kyocera’s position as the leading solar supplier to the education sector and its market share now stands at 40 per cent.

The School New Deal was created in 2009 with the aim of bringing school design into the 21st century, through the incorporation of solar power and earthquake-resistant building standards.
