Samsung considers investing in Vietnam

South Korean electronics giant Samsung is considering investing in Vietnam’s power sector. The government said Samsung will survey five power projects in the central and southern regions of Vietnam this month to select a good place for investment. Samsung is expected to conduct a field survey of the project sites for the investment.
The five projects being considered by Samsung's are Quynh Lap 2 Power Plant (Nghe An Province); Vung Ang Power Plant 3 (Ha Tinh Province;, Quang Trach 2 Power Plant (Quang Binh Province); Hau River Power Plant 3 (Hau Giang Province) and Kien Luong Power Plant (Kien Giang Province).
