Preformed Line Products expands in Asia Pacific

In its 2010 Outlook Update, the Asia DevelopmentBank commented as follows on the AsiaPacific Region, “Despite the sluggish global recovery,the region’s growth and momentum hassustained itself in 2011, and prospects are bright formost regional economies.

GDP growth is now projectedto rebound to 8.2% in 2010, revised up fromthe April forecast of 7.5%. The improved outlookis broad based with projections lifted in all subregions.”

The expected strong regional GDP growth is certainlya catalyst for ongoing investment in the electricalindustry in particular, as the need for electricityacross all sectors of the economy increases.
