Water successfully impounded at Nam Lik 1-2 project

The Nam Lik 1-2 hydropower project in Laos successfully reached the planned water level of EL.305m recently.

With the scientific management of Nam-Lik 1-2 Hydropower Project Company, power generation amount of the project for different stages has exceeded what was originally planned, and safely passed the flood invasion in early September this year. Meanwhile, the successful water impounding to the designed highest level will facilitate the power generation in dry season.

The Nam Lik 1-2 Hydropower Project is CWE’s first BOOT project, which is also a landmark project for the strategic transition of CWE from solely contracting to investment. With the concerted efforts of both project team and the Head Office, “Nam-Lik Model” was successfully erected based on all these achievements we made during the past years. All project company staff promised to manage and operate Nam Lik 1-2 Hydropower Station well and safe, with an aim to making greater contribution for the brilliant further of CWE.
