Oriental OWL Energy seals deal with GE Energy Financial Services for Japan solar projects

It's the largest solar project in Asia.

According to a release, Oriental OWL Energy KK (part of the OWL Group) has been awarded a contract by GE Energy Financial Services to provide oversight on multiple solar energy projects under construction in Japan.

The 230MWDC project, located in Setouchi City, Okayama prefecture, will be the largest solar project in Asia. In addition, OWL will be providing oversight for construction of the 32MW Kumenan and 42MW Mimasaka projects located in the Okayama prefecture. OWL has been engaged on a long term basis to provide technical support including monitoring construction, reviewing documentation and providing regular reporting.

OWL was selected based on its ability to combine engineering expertise with strong cultural and linguistic support. OWL’s Japan Director, Kayaba san, stated that it was a pleasure to work with GE Energy Financial Services again after prior collaboration on other projects in the Asia-Pacific region.
