Inaugural Asian Power Utility Forum comes to Manila on March 8

There’s only one week left to register.

The inaugural Asian Power Utility Forum will happen in Manila on March 8, and will gather the archipelago's most influential and prominent thought leaders to discuss the biggest issues that the power industry is currently facing.

The Manila leg will tackle issues such as securing power financing, the implementation of renewable energy law in the Philippines, and how subsidies work in addressing the supply and demand imbalance in a country faced with energy crises. It will also feature an in-depth session by the National Power Corporation (NAPOCOR).

Speakers include industry leaders such as Urbano C. Mendiola, Vice President for Corporate Affairs at NAPOCOR; Jaime Azurin, Executive Vice President, Global Business Corporation; Luis Miguel Aboitiz, SVP-Power Marketing and Trading, Aboitiz Power Corp; Ernesto B. Pantangco, Vice-Chairman of the National Renewable Energy Board (NREB); and Janssen Dela Cruz, Assistant Vice President - Business Development, Global Business Power Corporation (GBPC).

All sessions will be moderated by Tim Charlton, editor-in-chief and publisher of Asian Power Magazine.

The Asian Power Utility Forum will also be held in four other key cities across the region, namely Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Bangkok, and Singapore.
