Ayala finally gets Chevron's Indonesian geothermal assets
The purchase includes geothermal fields with 637MW combined capacity.
AC Energy, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Philippine conglomerate Ayala Corp, along with other members of an Indonesian consortium, has finally completed buying Cheveron's geothermal assets and operations in West Java, Indonesia.
“The Indonesia assets and operations include the Darajat and Salak geothermal fields in West Java, Indonesia, with a combined capacity of 637 MW of steam and power,” AC Energy said in an announcement in the stock exchange.
The acquisition was made through the joint venture company Star Energy Geothermal.
