AC Energy Philippines buys four local solar firms
The firms operate two solar farms with 80MW and 45MW capacity.
AC Energy has signed separate share purchase agreements to acquire 100% ownership interest of four solar firms in Negros Province of the Philippines: Macquarie Infrastructure Holdings, Langoer Investments Holding, and the Government service insurance system in each of Negros Island Solar Power (ISLASOL), and San Carlos Energy Inc. (SACASOL), announced AC Energy.
ISLASOL owns and operates an 80MW solar firm in La Carlota City, and in Manapla municipality of Negros province, whilst SACASOL runs an operation of 45MW solar firm in San Carlos city of the same province.
The completion of ACEPH’s acquisition of each of ISLASOL and SACASOL is subject to the approval of the Philippine Competition Commission.
