Philippine off-grid projects up for bid
Contracts worth P47.6-million.
That is the amount Napocor is bidding out for the construction of power facilities in off-grid areas and the installation of transmission steel transmission towers.
The provinces to bevenfit from the projects are Camarines Sur, Bohol and Occidental Mindoro.
The state-owned Napocor allotted P27.3 million for the supply and installation of 13-kilovolt steel towers and 69-kV steel poles for Taguilan, Colonia and San Agustin river crossings in Occidental Mindoro.
The contract includes the “furnishing all superintendence, labor, materials, tools and equipment to complete the dismantling and hauling of existing 69-kV wood pole transmission lines.”
Bid opening is scheduled on Nov. 15.
Also included for auction is the P20.3-million deal for the construction of power facilities in Palumbanes, Catanduanes and Buenavista, Bohol.
The winning bidders will supply, install and test the power facilities, which is part of the off-grid electrification projects of Napocor.
Pre-bid conference for the project is slated on Oct. 31, with the bid submission and opening set on Nov. 12.
