Indiabulls Industrial Infrastructure Ltd to source power from group company IBRL for proposed SEZ
Indiabulls Industrial Infrastructure Ltd's proposed Multiproduct Special Economic Zone (SEZ) in Nashik, Maharashtra will source its power requirements from group company Indiabulls Realtech Limited's coal-based power plant of 2,700 MW capacity.
8Out of the total 1011.264 Ha of the SEZ area, 436.194 Ha have been earmarked for the power plant. Pertinently, the environment clearance has already been attained for the power project site.
8The SEZ developer has clearly stated that appropriate arrangements will be made for power evacuation and distribution to meet the estimated power demand of 82.8 MW for the SEZ project.
8An enclosed type diesel generator (DG) sets with Auto Mains Failure (AMF) panels will be provided for power back up, in line with the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986 and guidelines issued by the Central Pollution Control Board (CPCB).
8Moreover, an efficient effluent management, treatment and reuse scheme will be implemented in the power plant. This will be done to optimize various water systems so as to reduce intake water requirement and achieve ‘Zero Discharge Condition’ for the thermal power plant.
8Processed wastewater generated from different sections of the TPP will be effectively utilized within the plant itself.
