China Resources Power’s net generation up 13% to 10,261,632 MWh in August
And total net generation for the first eight months of 2011 increased by 20.9% to 74,590,083 MWh.
In a release, China Resources Power Holdings Company Limited announced that total net generation in August 2011 (on a consolidated basis) increased by 13.0% to 10,261,632 MWh from 9,077,660 MWh for the same period last year. Total net generation for the first eight months of 2011 (on a consolidated basis) increased by 20.9% to 74,590,083 MWh compared to 61,684,603 MWh for the same period last year.
On a same plant basis, total net generation for the first eight months of 2011 increased by 1.9% compared to the same period last year. Power plants located in Henan, Guangdong, Jiangsu, Hebei and other service provinces recorded 5.2%, 3.5%, 1.7%, 1.2% and 9.1% increase year on year, respectively. Power plants located in Liaoning province recorded a 28.2% decrease year on year, as three 200MW coal-fired units in Jinzhou Power Plant ceased operations in 2010.
