BGR will provide steam turbine and generators for NTPC's Lara 2x800 MW super thermal power project.
The contract is valued at Rs 1,548 crore.
BGR Energy Systems emerged as the lowest bidder, with BHEL, Larsen & Toubro and Toshiba had also bidding for the project.
The 800 MW STG units will be supplied in 44 and 48 months.
