Alstom T&D bags $14.37M supply order from Jyoti Structures

Alstom T&D India has received a US$14.37 million equipment supply contract from Jyoti Structures Limited, a turnkey EPC contractor.

The product package will supply the Jabalpur and Nellore 765kV substation projects for Power Grid Corporation of lndia Limited, located in the states of Madhya Pradesh and Andhra Pradesh.

The products to be supplied include circuit breakers, disconnectors, instrument transformers, current transformers and capacitive voltage transformers for several 765/400 kV substations. All the 765 kV products for these substations will be delivered from Alstom T&D India's manufacturing facilities in India, which were set up between 2007-2009.

"Alstom T&D lndia is a market leader in lndia in Extra and Ultra High Voltage transmission products. We have won maximum orders for 765 kV this year by localizing our high quality range of Extra High Voltage products," said Alstom T&D India Managing Director Rathin Basu.
