CEM educates consumers on proper energy use
CEM held a seminar to educate customers to save energy, enhance home safety and environmental protection.
Chris Chong, Companhia de Electricidade de Macau Customer Services Department Engineer talked about how to use electrical appliances more efficiently and ways to save energy, while Michael Chan, Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Office Senior Engineer, shared information about CEM good practices regarding environmental protection. CEM Customer Services Department Customer Metering Service Manager, Lam Ion Chong, and Senior Engineer, Luella Wong, as well as Safety, Health, Environment and Quality Office Engineer, Kelvin Kou, were also present at the seminar to answer questions and receive feedback from the Association's members. Vice-Chairman of Property Management Business Association Macao, William Yong, thanked for CEM's cooperation in providing a chance to its members to know more about CEM's services and operations.
As to encourage the customers to use more energy-saving electrical appliances, CEM offered to all attending participants an energy saving light bulb, as well as a set of useful informational leaflets produced by the Company.
