ABB won an order to supply amorphous dry-type transformers in Zhejiang province. These will come from its recently launched EcoDryTM line, for a real estate project. The project is being executed by the ZheJiang WanAn Real-Estate Co. Ltd.

ABB has opened a facility for manufacturing power products in Vietnam, as the country builds and strengthens its electricity network. Vietnam is experiencing rising demands created by a growing economy.

ABB sealed $22 million worth of deals to provide four turnkey substations for the regional grid in northern India.

ABB will supply the complete process control system for units 3 and 4 of the Hui Lai thermal power plant. Located in the Guangdong province of China, the plants are owned by the Guangdong Yudean Group.
