Sunseap Group signs 20-year PPA for workers dormitory in Singapore
The facility is expected to generate 220,000kWh of energy annually.
Solar developer Sunseap Group and accommodations owner Centurion Corporation signed a 20-year solar power purchase agreement (PPA) for a workers dormitory in Singapore.
According to an announcement, the solar photovoltaic (PV) system to be installed by Sunseap will be located at a dormitory, ASPRI-Westlite Papan, which is a joint venture between Centurion and Lian Beng Group. Sunseap will construct and install a 170kW peak solar system on the rooftop of the property.
The solar PV system is expected to be ready by end-June 2019. Once completed, it is expected to generate about 220,000kWh of energy annually and offset 30% of ASPRI-Westlite Papan’s peak energy usage.
