Hong Kong-listed VPower Group to co-develop 900MW power projects in Myanmar
The company has set up a JV with CNTIC.
Asia-focused distributed power generation (DPG) station operator VPower Group International Holdings has set up a joint venture (JV) company with China National Technical Import & Export Corporation (CNTIC), according to a press release.
The companies will each hold a 50% stake in the JV for the development of three power projects in Myanmar with an aggregate contract capacity of 900MW.
CNTIC has been working with VPower since 2010 as its engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contractor.
